I've just had an email from the Scottish Car show organisers. It's back in Edinburgh this year at the Royal Highland Centre. It's always been a good day out with good people,banter and our usual huge buffet lunch with BBQ.

I've now been sent the outdoor booking form. Pretty much the same as last year if we can get our booking form back before mid April then we get an early bird deal, meaning £10 for driver and £10 for passenger instead of £15. So if everyone can get money to me before the 4th of April we will be able to get in for a tad cheaper.

I once attended as part of a 207 owners club, it's a good day out.

Sadly I doubt Beaker will have arrived in time to attend this :( I'd getting a bit hacked off with the lack of information coming through from the dealer/MINI. Five weeks since I put in my order and still no soddin' build slot been allocated :(

Malcolm kindly offered me one of their places, (just answered his PM - sorry for the delay Malcolm!) but the ELFmobile is pretty manky after being out and about last week and I haven't had/won't have time to clean it for the show as I'll either be at work or visiting Dad in hospital. He's been doing a bit better lately, which is good.

Looking forward to seeing you all and buttering your buns :blush: and I must say I'm looking forward to a hurl in Rob's Super Clubbie :thumbs up:

Waiting on the doormat for me when I got home was our tickets and information.

As usual we need to enter as a group. I suggest we meet at 730 at Hermistonn Gate to get organised with wrist bands and car passes etc. To leave to head to the show ground at 745. This will give us plenty time to get in as there is always a huge queue to get in and then set up.

Sadly anyone not there for us leaving will not be able to gain sole access to the show, as previously stated we must enter as a group. We will not wait for any stragglers, detriment to the group. If there is anything unforeseen on your way to Hermiston Gate please let me know and we will see what we can do. Everyone should have my number if you don't please PM me and I will give it to you.

OK now that we have times I would propose we meet around 6:15am at Glasgow Showcase aiming to leave around 6:30am

Its a 45min drive roughly so that will allow a little extra time incase of any traffic issues/roadworks etc + time for a Krispy Kreme breakfast donut ! :)

Who will all be meeting at Showcase so we know when everyone has arrived ?

Hi folks, sorry I'm going to have to pull out of this one :sad: Dad's not been that great the last couple of days. I was waiting to see how he was tonight and although it's nothing drastic, I don't really want to be away all day tomorrow and miss visiting - and I just know I wouldn't be relaxed at the show if I was fretting about him.
