Following on from the Fatty56 thread...

IMO the R50 is a shape that will be timeless. Crombers has nominated the Mk2 GTi big bumper as another. So what (mass-produced, so no Astons for example) cars are timeless in design?

I'll kick off with a couple:

- 205 GTi 1.9
- E30

Another couple that's come to mind:

Original Z4
Fiat Coupe

I'm thinking cars that the design is timeless, not necessarily how good they are

Mk1 or Mk2...???
Original Mk1 big wing RS2000......true classic.....white with the blue side makings and 4 cibis on the front.
Original mini (OBVIOUSLY....!!!!)
Capri RS3100....lime green with the black bonnet
This list could get quite long......... :p

Not mass produced but the original GT40 and Shelby Cobra's also did it for me...!!!

Healy 3000 with straight six and Mk II Jag. Also think the S Type Jag will be a classic for the future.

Agreed the Austin two tone works for me, my favourite car probably after Mr Bonds, I actually love seeing the old cars that I grew up with, some are less timeless and more nostalgic.

Healey 3000
DB5
Ford RS Mexico MK1
Rover SD1 (yes I know)
Renault 5 turbo
Land Rover Defender
The Original Mini Classic
