That stuff is awesome!!!
spent today, washing car and polishing with this stuff, and looks new again :D...
Now i know why Wul pretty much drinks the stuff hehe... tho its not the easiest of polish to get off the car, tho it by far leaves the best shine
How often do u guys (i know wul does it weekly at least) re-polish your cars, i mean how long does the actual finish normally last for u?
Thanks chaps

Sh@z, if you're having difficulty getting the polish off you're putting too much on 8)
It's not like other polish, you don't need to see a haze on the paintwork ;)

ah ok, i mean it wasnt THAT hard to get off, just didnt wipe off as easily as some, but yeah could be using too much, i did see the haze on the paintwork too ... ah well :D
Im still a Meguiars newbie, BUT NOT FOR LONG!

I usually polish the car every couple of months. This summer I have also started using a "wax it wet" polish from turtle wax. You spray it on the wet car after washing and then shammy the car dry - leaves a great finish and stops so much muck sticking to the car. As I always dry the car after each wash (about weekly) it's no extra work and really makes the shine last between "proper" polishing.

they're dour then? I've had a couple of flashes from cars I haven't recognized, truth is DNV and MXNS are about my limit :I all but one flashed back and I missed a flash from someone in Montrose. Had a flashing comp with a fiesta last night - Wee Eck won. Might change the two lamps for a four bar - prep for the next time ( driver vowed revenge!).:D:D:D

There is a thread about this over on Mini2 - not sure how people are supposed to know that they arent allowed to install 4 lamps (unless they use the internet).
4 Lamps and Warranty (http://www.mini2.com/forum/showthread.php?t=61196)
What was the deal with the Hellas Angus? Does it sound ok?
X30YES

Guess the dealer will tell you at the time of ordering or getting them to 'switch them on for you' , if fitted DIY (by that time you will have bought them and get a shock me thinks )!!!. Deal was ok for the Hella lamps I think but got lost in the ICE talk with him so forget the exact price to be honest, saw some at TVA that looked better, flat at the back and closer to the grill (PIAA)http://www.aiwana.com/ look Yellow Gotmini ..last two pics on the page ...and yes did have a new beetle in the garage at one time ...but that left with the driver and all her other gear :p:D:D:D:D

Glad to see you've found the "righteous" path Sh@z!
wait till you try some more of the products!
I can't stress enough though that on your black coop to invest in a wash mitt and always wash the car using the "two-bucket method" it will stop a lot of those nasty swirls happening in the first place! :)

This washing business is getting exxxxpensive, tho the finished article does loook sweet, even if it does rain RIGHT after i've washed, polished the car lol

Ah - the two bucket method - a must for a black car!
Purchase wash mitt - deep pile draws dirt off of surface preventing wash inflicted scratches, a sponge acts as a bit of sandpaper!
When washing car - take 2 buckets - fill one with wash solution and one with clean water, dip mitt into clean water every time before putting into wash solution and rinse grit out mitt. this keeps your wash solution clean and grit free and stops you putting dirt back on the car as your wash solution gets dirtier over the duraiton of the wash.
Takes no longer to wash the car but believe me - it does help look after the paint work. :)

I remember the days when I had my old Escort it was lucky to get Fairy liquid in the water....
Have to admit - I do like a freshly waxed motor. Mine needs doing, haven't had the weather to do it recently it's just too wet!
