Hey guys, would like to put in a decent headunit in the front, do you any that are still compatible with the multi-functional steering wheel?

Eggy, sorry didnt see this post earlier. Looks like people have answered your question - but I will just back up what they say.

Mikeythemini sells a range of adapters - Bonnies thread links to a list of whats available.

My Clarion unit wasnt supported so I bought the universal unit, basically this mimics the commands from my stereos remote - so you can program any button on the steering wheel to do any command from the remote. Has the additional advantage of making the "dead button" on the steering wheel usable.

Dead easy to fit and set up , just need to cut one wire under the dash and install an led

its not a lot of work but you have to take your time with it. There are some guides on mikeys site explaining what you need to do. You will also need a few other things - facia adapter, wiring adapter etc - mikey sells these as a kit. You are best deciding what stereo you want - mikey has an offer over on mini2 on a clarion which looks pretty good

http://www.mini2.com/forum/showthread.php?t=68646&highlight=group+buy+clarion

- and then buy everything you need to fit it in one go.

If you are really struggling I can fit it for you, for very reasonable rates :D

I have put a link to mini2

If you check out the I saw you section on here - you will see I put a spot down for you last night - but it was on union grove. Maybe it took you till Hazelhead to realise, although guess that wouldnt take long at your usual speed

I got a clarion VRX928RVD from

Cel Direct (http://www.cel-direct.com/) - Looks the same price as Angus's site. Had really good after sales service from them as well.

A lot of stuff to run in though - not for the faint hearted :), but can be done.
