Headunit removal - queries

Is there anything i need to know or have to watch when removing my factory-fitted WAVE headunit in order to fit an aftermarket?

Have a look in the FAQ on Mini2 - there are some good guides on there. Main point to watch is not to scratch the down pillars - they scratch VERY easily

lol, i just finished fitting my new Alpine CDE-9828RB HU. Its lookin sweet:D:p:cool: - this is only half the install since i've got my amp and sub to wire up tomorrow. (it would have been tonight but it got too dark lol)

i'll post some pics in a while (if anyone is interested lol!)
