Hello from Aberdeen

Howdy, thanks to Alan for getting me access to the board - new to the world of Mini, taking delivery of a brand new Cooper Baker Street in September. My first mini - 1.6 petrol, rooftop grey with black alloys. Will post photos when I get it!

Looking forward to it, I test drove a 10 plate Cooper and fell in love - great fun. Tested an A1 and a Polo same day and the Cooper destroyed both.

Had my Cooper over five years and it still makes me smile so that cant be a bad thing. Hope you have many happy mile in it when you get it.

Yup, will be a brand new 63 plate. Queued for build at the start of September, to be delivered to John Clark around mid-September.

My spec will be standard Baker Street spec with black roof/mirrors, visual boost, and DRL. Nothing major. Kinda wish I had gone for the xenon headlights though...would this be something easy enough to add later perhaps? EDIT - a quick google suggests not! Osram Nightbreakers it is then...!

I'm city centre too - there aren't many (if any!) rooftop grey Baker Streets in the town - sure you'll come across me :) what are you driving?

:welcome: Thanks for your patience, if you can stretch to it i would advise getting the xenon's added to the order, i think the non xenons are pants, in my opinion of course

I'm with Alan on the the lights, they are so poor on the R56. I had to get the Nightbreakers in on my Coop.

Too late to change the order now it seems as it's confirmed at the factory, according to the dealer.

Easy enough to fit Nightbreakers? Would be looking to de-tango the lights regardless
