LED side lights

Simple question: Do Canubus LED white sidelight 'bulbs' meet MOT regulations and British law?

I would like to fit them, but want to be sure they're legal.:confused:

erm, no but is anyone going to pull your lights out and check? I've had 2 MOT's with LED sidelights in and they've passed both times. To be road legal they have to be e-marked which most of these LED bulbs are not. Under EU rules you are supposed to replace like for like, so incandescent bulbs must be replaced with the same etc

as alex says ive got led bulbs fitted to mine sidelight/stop tail lights & reverse lights
have passed 2 mots no problem even been stopped by police for light/tyre check and they said nothing
