Hi

Just bought my daughter a rather unusual 2010 Mini First.
The previous elderly owner has had over £4000 spent on modifications .............mainly to make it look like a Cooper S.

(I don't why know either!!)

Cooper S Bonnet/Front Panel
Cooper S Rear Spoiler
Cooper S Rear Panel
Cooper S discs/callipers
Lowered suspension
Uprated Shocks
18" Wheels
Full leather interior
Roof Spoiler
Cooper s Exhaust
Interior "bling"
Decals

Anyway..................first question If I may?
What tyre pressures should I use on 215 40 18 Non Runflats?

I always set them at 32psi. Run flats normally are at 40psi.

Hope this helps ;)

Hi

Don't mind sharing insurance quotes

This is based on Comprehensive Insurance for a 17 year old only having a provisional licence for one week. (Insurance broker recommended that my daughter started her own policy)

Mini Cooper - £720 on a provisional (£2200 after she passes a driving test)

Mini First - £510 on a provisional (£1700 after she passed a driving test)

The additional fee will be on a pro rata basis, e.g. if she passes her test after 6 months she will pay additional £850
Insurance did not seem interested in the cosmetic mods, but noted the 18" alloys
