Any ideas where I can get the chrome insert for my key? Both have snapped in recent weeks and being plastic it was inevitable. I am after some more sturdy metal ones.

Im sure MINI replace them under warranty. I had one replaced on my Cooper a few years back. Try MINI first if they dont play ball they can be bought on ebay for about £10

I got the Metal one over the BMW plastic chrome a few years back.

it's just over £17 but its real metal to that of the plastic. Just mind that the Metal one i have does have a small space at the Key end. But after abuse in the pocket with house krys it still look great.

Ordered one off eBay for £9ish hopefully it's ok. You'd of thought mini would of made them out of metal in the first place, they're proper flimsy and tarnish easily

Yeah 25K Works and your key fob can look like ****e after six months! Production wise you must be talking about pennies literally if you scale it up to sales to have proper metal that lasts.

Well I hope the Ebay one works out for you.
