Y connector for iPhone

Amazon selling them for £8 from a company called Ava Group. Seems to good to be true.
Anyone bought one from there ?

no idea if generic ones work. But I have to say my genuine mini one is rubbish. 50% of the time I plug into it it takes 15mins of fiddling for it to recognise my ipod. I dont know if it's the ipod(don't think so though), the cable or the connector in the car that's the problem as I've never tried anyone else's in it, which I did mean to do, but yeah, mine's rubbish and cost about £43!!

Hmmm, I don't think I have heard any good stories about this connector.
Still, will be worth a try as it is only £8
