Would Nms members be interested in shows ?

Right there are a fair few mini shows thro the year most are down south but would there be interest in doing some of them ?

I would like to do some of the shows with NMS I have been doin the with the GP club last few years

So is there interest in the shows or would you lot just prefer runs ??

I like the shows Rob, it's all down to cash tho as attending a show "doon sooth" can cost over £200 a time ;)

Was only thinking about this last night when I was reading Modern Mini. I think Himley is the week after the Highland Tour, so that would be too close for us. Can't do the London to Brighton as we are in Tenerife. There is one at Brands Hatch at the end of June? Or if NMS decide do one Aug / Sept, we would be interested. Is Mikey the Mini doing a show in Liverpool? That was excellent when we went with Rob and Christine.

Will go and find a list of dates it was more would members be intreated in doing a few we don't have to dap all of them just a few I know it can cost a lot I have done a few shows in the last 2 years with the GP :)

I like the idea but strapped for cash for the next couple of years at least. I enjoy the socialising, loitering, vibe and eating of shows a lot! I'd like to know what was going on and would poss consider going as a copilot to make it a bit cheaper if anyone wanted one. It's not like my car turns heads much. I think the answer is mibbae aye but cash. Keep me informed!

i went to brands for the first time last year to see the touring car it was good apart from it being a wet weekend :( ended up going home on the sunday night instead of the monday morning because the cheap pop up tents were soaking wet lol one look at them on the sunday night and we all just went eh we're going home lol

so i'll need to get a tent with a double skin.

oh plus in need to replace the drivers side front wheel bearing i'll get that done in the next few weeks


but if NMS were to have a club stand there i'll join you

However I'm planning on going to Mini in The Park at the Santa Pod Raceway near Wellingborough in Northamptonshire, on August 11th.

At the moment I'm planning to go the event while I'm on holiday down in England. I may use the campsite there, but haven't decided as yet.
