That sentence just proves how important it is to get punctuation in the correct place.

Beautiful pup, its amazing how quick they grow up so take lots of pics.

We were just remarking on the fact that Freya, our youngest dog, is 5 yo next week (and yet we still think of her as a puppy ).

I didn’t know much about the breed so I had a look, just in case anyone else is interested.

Sounds like a lovely temperament, very loyal.

A fantastic looking dog :thumbs up: congrats, looks at home already fast asleep, pretty sure a dog won't fall asleep unless they feel safe and secure????

As for driving with the dog in your lap :hand:

Yep they are very loyal dogs they are French sheepdogs so good to train as well

We had one in the past so know what they are like :D

Always easier when you’ve had a type of dog before, you kind of know what to expect. Mind you having said that Freya is completely different to our other collie, Elliott, chalk and cheese. We think Elliott doesn’t know he’s a dog, or has decided to ignore the fact, probably the latter.

If we do get another dog in the future we’re going to go for a Belgian Tervuren, like yours another Sheepdog.

We met one in a pub at Glenuig called Isla, beautiful animal completely unfazed by Freya barking her head off at her.

That looks like a nice dog :)

Yep it's 1/2 the battle when you know kind of what to expect mind you if she is any thing like the last one then I will have no house left  hence the reason she has got a cage for when we are out or bed time

Good to see you’ve got a cage, she’ll find it reassuring and you’ll save on chewed furniture. Its the best investment you can make for a young dog.

Elliott had his cage until he was 3, we only got rid because it took up too much space. He loved it, he used to go in there whenever it thundered or he was tired and wanted to be alone.

Yep that's the plan with Faith we also cage my moms and dads dogs so know the benifets of caging dogs ;)

As said we have had them before and I know how destructive of a puppy they can be are old one had the washing machine out and chewed thro the pipes one time along with countless other things

Completely agree, we only lost a couple of pairs of Jackie’s shoes before we got one.

I completely missed this one Rob - lovely wee dog! :thumbs up:
Some of the posts were quite confusing though - with all that furniture chewing, destructive tendencies and the cage, I didn't know whether they were referring to Faith, or YOU!

Think the Cats coming round to the idea that this thing is getting bigger too by the look on its face.

Just spotted this thread. Faith looks awesome. A new pup is the reason we got a Countyman. We just got a Giant Schnauzer pup recently which sounds really similar in temperament to the briard (thanks for the link Paul) although Eddie (our pooch) might be a fraction bigger. He was 15 kgs at 12 weeks. :eek:As you say. Hard work but really worthwhile and good fun.:thumbs up:
