need to be brighter

I want to change the headlight bulbs in my r50 cooper for some that are brighter and a bit better looking. Anyone got suggestions?

if they can be used in R50 as well as R56 (I think they can, someone will confirm) then you want to get Nightbreaker Plus Osram bulbs from newministuff. Loads of us have got them, they are much better than the stock ones. I don't remember having the same issues with my R50 as I did when I got the R56 - ie suddenly couldn't see anything!! but I think they will still help

these should be the ones...should be right as I found them under the 1st Gen section.

are these bulbs for the headlights or for the spots(fullbeam)? sorry if its a stupid ?

these are headlights and full beam which I think is just the headlights thrown higher. Not spots.

Don't know, but you have a separate dipped and full beam on the R50, as opposed to the R56

Dunno if I would bother IMO, I purchased the Osram Nightbreakers for my R50 & compared to my 03 Punto on full beam they are still p1sh(ish) :idunno:

See if you can pick up a set of Xenons off a scrappy, or the classifieds cheap. Cost-effective upgrade
