Amp Wiring Query

I'm going to be wiring up an amp etc in my MINI sometime soon and i've a question for all you guys...

When wiring in the amp power line from the battery terminal where is the main pass-through point in the front bulkhead?

also, whats the easiest way to run cables along the car? i.e. carpet/roof lining...

Remove the glove box and you will see a grommet,run the cable under the plastic side trim:)

Remove the three torx screws along the top edge,one either side of the box (inside a wee hole) and the one in the centre inside the box.
