Bought a Last 500 last week. It comes complete with its unopened 500 pack and certificate.
Needs a wee bit tidying up done around the bodywork but doesnt need any panel replacement except for one of the plastic arches as it is cracked. I will need to replace all the brightwork as well as its a bit tarnished.

Going to get the front end forward of the seam mouldings painted and the rear lower valance painted. Will post up pics over the next few months of the progress. Shouldnt take too long to do this one although I am busy with moving house and spare cash for restoration is tight as I now have a wife.

Looking forward to your update and photos, Ian. I'm sure a man of detailing ability it would turns out to be like brand new.

Should have said, this one has only 37k on it. The woman I bought it from has had it since 2005 and when she bought it the car was effectively new as it had only 85 miles on it. The classic car dealer bought it new and put it away until 2005. The car is also on a Y reg as it had sat for 7 months prior to being registered.

That looks great. Is this a keeper or for sale after some TLC?

Nice wee Mini Ian! As others have said, I'm sure it'll turn out to be a wee gem! Wish I had the time, skills and cash to do something like this.
