not my car,ave a mini one diesel now,its my mates daughters car,how do i know if its a facelift model ?

Headlights have small circle on the bottom half of light. Rear lights have reverse light in them and not in bumper.

Also, if I remember rightly, the front lower grille had a chrome strip across the middle?????

another easy way to tell, is the clock mounted in the head cloth or is it within the speedo head. Speedo head = facelift car.

Im pretty confident that a 54 will be facelifted.

my mate says the car was registered on jan 2005 ,would think this is a facelift but havent seen the car yet

Best to check the build date, should be on a plate under the bonnet on the drivers side bulkhead

does it have three sun visors? Rear fog light in the bumper where the reverse light would be on a pre facelift, whats wrong with the box?

told the car only has 3rd gear but havent seen or driven the car yet,its getting looked at the garage tomo

AFAIK the diesel didn't get the facelift, certainly not when the petrol cars did, as every 2005 (54/05/55) D I've seen at the auctions has had the earlier style bumpers...

Correct but Choc has a Diesel, it's his friends petrol one with the problem :thumbs up:

Diesel kept the pre-facelift bumpers, but got everything else at the facelift - headlights, grille, pollen vents, 3-piece dash etc
