Cooper D Servicing

Hi all, I'm going to view a 2007 57 Cooper D for my wife next week. It's out of TLC. Does the OBC decide when it gets serviced or is it a time/mileage service schedule? Also, is the cooler diesel engine belt or chain driven and if it's belt what are the intervals for changing it?

The OBC will tell you when its next due. You can see when its next due if you look at the screen when you start the car up.

Im pretty sure the D is a belt but not sure on change intervals. The 1.6 D is actually a peugeot engine.
