N18 Engine

Hi Guys, can someone confirm that the later N18 engines are the ones that have 184 bhp and were introduced in 2010.
I have been put off buying an earlier car due to the engine problems they seem to have.

Not sure on the code but I could go out and check mine.

They have a different engine plastic cover over them. You cant see the spark plug HT leads on the new ones as they have a cover over them. The new engine is 184 horses and came out in 2010.

I Have not had any D noises from mine although had plenty from my older versions.

Thanks Ian, you are right, l was down in Edinburgh today looking at a late 2010 car with 184 bhp ;)
