Well what an epic trip! Have to say the event was really good but it did lack that little something. I think the main thing was this event was marketed very much as an English friendly event. Sadly 90% of the staff didn't speak English. This meant organisation was a total farce and really spoiled the event really.

We also took a trip to Monaco which was superb and we drove the track at night in the rain haha. The vintage grand prix was on that day and we ended up helping the British mother of the winner who managed to get stuck up a back lane with his car on the back of a trailer.

Got to tip my hat for you guys going.:bow: I’d love to drive all the way to Monaco although once you got me over there I would have to do some of the mountain passes:smilewinkgrin:. But for sure I know I’d have a huge grin driving round the race track ( I’d love to go round and through the tunnel) even in the rain and the drive down into the city must have been amazing. A few others I’ve read to felt MU12 could have been better and was a bit spaced out too much ( you’d know being there ) what that was about.

Love the secure parking, if it’s good enough for a Ferrari its good enough for me. Great you enjoyed it and something I’m sure you’ll look back on in years to come and think “So glad we did that what an experience”:thumbs up:

Great pics Baz, especially the one of your car in the rain in Monaco. It deserves to be up on a wall in a big quality frame. Thanks also for the picture of the CountryVan, showing it from the drivers side. I was really interested to see what it looked like with the "suicide door" in view. Did you get any of the R56GP?

Really glad I went as like you say it was an experience, won't be back to MINI United until it is hosted in the uk again or if I do go I will fly there and back. Yes was spaced out far too much, could have been condensed better. Also the food on site was awful. There also wasn't much organisation.
