Recall young pups c2005 in S,s with Lambrini zorst pipes on the A95 Elgin to Grantown on Spey (whisky valley) & they could not keep up with the standard Cooper on the twisties, best quote of the eve was 'what the fcuk have you done to tune that Coop??? ..... & I said 'nowt' .......
Then after a few beers with Alan & John was I educated that Coops can indeed 'shaft' S,s all day long in the 'twisties'

Will live with me for a long time ................ Oh yes :cool:

Best MINI run on planet earth (although the 3 Highland Tours are way up there)..... What an 'on the limit, manic, beautiful drive' !!!!!! :hand: :thumbs up:

Unless I manage to get an onshore job I will not be planning a run, I have had a mini again for some time now and the furthest it's been is Knockhill.

Terri's inlaws have bought the place in Dufftown that we used on one of the runs and I had a photo of the minis lined up outside but can't find it.

Im currently looking for an onshore job so a run is possible but I'm an old grandad now so might not be very quick

Ah, the memories :lol:
That was the year the hotel decided they didn't want our money and we had to find alternative drinking holes, remember, we paid the singer a few extra quid to continue singing until the hotel closed him down.
If i remember rightly, after i complained to the hotel owner the next day the manager was sacked.

The hotel must have lost a fair bit of money that night with the entire NMS Cullen crew on full parade
