Has given me back my enable/disable 3G button option.:thumbs up:

here's the thing. My iPhone has been telling me for a couple of months that a software upgrade is available and I should connect it to iTunes to update it. Each time I did that, it would spend 30 mins downloading the update only to say that it had failed. I gave up after 5 attempts.

Got a screen message this morning saying 5.1 is available. Clicked through to the settings screen and I was able to download and update it without connecting it to iTunes at all. In fact I walked around the house with it in my pocket while it was updating.

Yeah if you have it set, it can do it via wifi on your phone. Did mine the other day... Had the invalid sim error a bit recently so hopefully 5.1 has fixed it... ;)

Battery seems to lasting longer on my 4s and the camera operates on a single swipe from the lock screen now, so I'm :D

Battery does seem better, and the calls no longer drop in my car when on Bluetooth so I'm happy!

Update was mighty better than going to 5 from 4.

Definitely a worthwhile update with the updates fixing what they said they were going to fix at the last upgrade.

I just let the phone do it over the wifi as well and checking there all seem well.


I think its back to the way it was when I first got the phone. For me everything slowed down, now app’s just pop open on this update.

AAAAHHHHHHHHHH so THAT'S where the wee camera symbol on the lock screen appeared from on my ipod!!

I don't do tech very well.... :frown:

My home wifi has been giving me problems since the update, was fine before.

Apart from that am happy!
