R56 Boot problem

Ok, my boot won't open via the handle but opens fine by the remote. Anyone know a fix for this?

Maybe the solenoid on the handle itself has given up the ghost? :idunno:

May be something to do with how it is set up? I know we have to press the fob twice for the rear door to open. Something i need to get time to change, as it's a pain. Ours does open with one push of the door handle though. Could be as Ali says. WD40?

My first r56 needed the boot handle replaced because of the same problem.

I'll check it out when I get more time. Just wondered if there was something that had been reset when it was in getting resprayed. Been a while since we got it back so too long I guess to take it back and see what they did.
