Hey folks, quick question, wonder if anyone can help?
I've had my 09 Dooper for a week now ( but its my 5 th MINI overall, dedication here ha ha!!) but have just noticed that one of the indicators in the headlights looks more orange than the other. Now, I know this car had a new headlight fitted before I bought it (was a cherished car, got the history of the work it had done to prepare it for the "line" as I've family that works for John Clarks) so I assume that's what's causing the difference.
Been reading up on this forum, and read that you can fit "silver" bulbs to get rid of the orange look (as the car has clear lenses in the indicator). I'm wondering if the old headlight has a silver bulb in it as it looks clear, and the "new" headlight has a standard orange bulb as the difference is quite marked.
Anyone any suggestions, or indeed uses the silver bulbs that could shed a bit of light (arf arf!!) on the subject?
Cheers!
