Should that not read £399 - or am I looking at the wrong thing.
Doh , just realised £309 for the classic - £399 for the new one.
They have got them at Costco at the mo, but I cant remember the price. I'll have a look at the weekend, and post the price here if its anygood.

The new one is £399 ar pretty close at Halfords. Has anyone ever felt the need for the external antenae because they have tints. The bumph that comes with it mentioned bmw tinted windows as ones likely to affect its performance.

New one works fine in my Mini. With tints and heated windscreen.

So I'm finding out!
Went to price an ipod yesterday but would have to change the stereo since it doesn't have an output, or is it an input? Am running around with a ridiculous amount of cds in my car so perhaps I will look at a changer in the boot. Does anyone know if coopers are wired for these as standard?:D:D:D

If you have one of the latest models the prep lead will be behind the drivers side cubby hole in the boot. It'll be tucked away neatly and prbably taped up a bit, you are looking for 2 square like plugs.
From there you can purchase an MP3 changer like the Alpin Cha S634 (cheaper than a MINI changer) but will require an adaptor to convert the plugs to the MINI's

Try here sheilz for MP3 changers and looks a better buy than the Mini 6x cd changer @ £250

Sheilz, an IPOD will set you back about £200, a stereo with AUX input will cost roughly £250 including fitting.

My bank manager would say go for the changer, I think I'd prefer the new stereo! The bmw is boring!
