Nightmare! Hope the insurance does the decent thing. It was absolutely howling here around 5AM and got up and moved the car practically all the way down the drive to get it away from anything. Neighbours house a few doors down lost about seven tiles that thankfully just took out an old wooden well and gnome. If a car had been there it was have been a right off probably.
Anyway I rambling, Wish you all the best with it and a speedy fix.

Think your house insurance should pay out .. They've been expecting claims like this (was on the news). Mates Audi has suffered the same damage when I told him about yours he checked his and discovered big dents and broken slates lying on top of it .. Good luck anyway mate hope there's an easy outcome
At 8000rpm no one hears you scream

Insurance companies are so busy at present that if a claim is under £500 they will probably just tell you to go ahead with the repair. However don't know if that will apply to damage to anything other than the property itself. Wish you all the best with it Rob. Don't give in easily, if they don't give you the right answer first time, which is what they will probably try and do.

I presume your no claims is not protected rob. Tbh mate I can't see that being a cheap fix, maybe an insurance claim is what you'll have to do after all that's what its there for. Anyway good luck either way.

no as it ended up only going to cost me £150 more than my excess so not worth making a claim and that's including my graphics that are £100 from Mini
i am just lucky that i have some good friends and family that can point me in the right direction :thumbs up:

nope as i dont want to lose my no claims as i have 7 years nowYou are obliged to inform your insurer of any damage to the car, read your small print, failure to advise them only gives them excuses in the future to not pay out for work.
It won't affect your no claims
