Exterior Gloss Black Trim (A Pillars, etc.)

Any advice on removing light scratches / swirls from the gloss black exterior trims and bringing them "back to new look":cool:...

...any tips on keeping gloss black roofs looking good as well?

I use meguiars ultimate compound on my pillars. Black roofs are a nightmare u need to get a few coats of wax on it a.s.a.p I left my when I first got my Mini and a bird poo damaged the surface so I needed to machine polish it out. Thereafter it's regular coats of wax and bird poo watch lol

The gloss black roof on the CM could be a "double edged sword"...look great but a pain to keep it that way:thud:
