Anyway......

To enter the service Menu:
close doors
Insert Key
Do not press clutch / brake
Press Start button
Wait until the Car / relevant Service symbol disappears on the Rev counter display
Immediately after the symbol goes out - Press and hold Both buttons on the Rev Counter
Continue to hold - the system Will run a dash light checkhttp://www.totalmini.com/forum/images/smilies/totalrolleyes.gif
Continue to hold
Display will then show VIN / Menu, - continue to hold through this until the time Reappears on the display.
Now release Only the Right hand Button (trip reset) for about a second, and then press and hold again (whilst still holding the LH button)
After another second of 2 the display will show the Front Brake Symbol You Are Now in the Service Menuhttp://www.totalmini.com/forum/images/smilies/totalbiggrin.gif
Use the BC Button (on indicator stalk) to scroll through to the relevant symbol - eg Rear Brakes

To Reset the warning indicator light - Press & Hold the BC Button at the revelant symbol until RESET appears - then press and hold again until the process is complete.

Turn Off and On the Ignition again - Warning should now have gone!http://www.totalmini.com/forum/images/smilies/totalwink.gif

actually theres a lot of stuff in that that you don't need to do

To enter the service Menu:
close doors
Insert Key
Do not press clutch / brake
Press Start button
Wait until the Car / relevant Service symbol disappears on the Rev counter display

up to here is correct.

press the bc button the end of your indicator stalk to cancel the symbol saying you don't have your seatbelt on.

press and hold the trip reset button on the rev counter and keep it held down the next due service icon comes on
once it does and it's the one you want to reset (press the bc button a few times to cycle through them though the next one due is the first to come up)
press and hold the BC button to reset the service item displayed
it will come up with the word reset
let go of the bc button and then press and hold again and you'll get a ticked box with the appropriat distance to next service change

to exit just leave the buttons alone for a while or turn off the ignition

hope this helps
