Sounds like a great price, but prob low spec in it. Sun protection glass is easily added for approx £100 or less ;)

yes tax on new S is £115

It wont be brand new though as it has mileage on application so that means its either going to be a demonstrator or a courtesy car.

Any other bargains available?

I am looking to change cars about March. Still considering an A1 but if I can get a great deal on a Cooper D or petrol I may stick with MINI.

No, too expensive! I'm a teacher and skint.

Still want a decent car but need to cut my fuel bills. Even averaging 39 mpg in the S I spend £200 per month on fuel.

It's probably pre-registered?

As you say Malcolm I think this one is pre- registered to Peter Vardy's... :yes nod: ...Definitely a Bargain for someone... :thumbs up:

It may not even be pre-reg. When I got mine they had lots of cars, new with numbers allocated but not registered.

No deals to be done on A1 either, my old man had to fight tooth and nail to get a deal on some the other week - he was buying 6 for his work and ended up getting some dealer fit bits thrown in but that was it. And that was playing two dealers off each other as well.

The A1 is newer and lower spec ones at least are much better value. SE tdi is 14.5k, base Cooper D is 16k. A MINI with zero options is probably less well specced than the A1.
