Factory Fitted Bluetooth

What are folks thoughts on the quality of the factory fitted bluetooth in their MINIs? The one in the 2010 R57 (convertible) is pretty poor and seems to suffer from alot of background / road noise:shut up:

Im on my 2nd R56 with factory fitted B/tooth and never had any problems. Anyone that I speak to on the phone can hear me fine and I can hear them fine as well.
My facelift R56 seems to talk better with the Ipod when listing up the music etc via the USB Y cable.

Might it be that the convertible lacks "sound proofing", well a hard top anyway!
