...ordered a MINI Countryman CooperD ALL 4:smilewinkgrin: (we still have the MINI Cooper convertible)

This will be my (our) new company car as the company I work for is changing its company car policy and essentially all company car owners need to supply their own from now on.

Decided on Light White with Black Roof and Mirrors with the PEPPER pack...

It is a cracking car to drive and I am looking forward to it arriving:thumbs up:

Was well looked after by Graeme @ Grassicks as he put together a great deal for us:yes nod:

Car is due w/c 12/12/11.

PS. Also took a Cooper S Coupe out for a spin and enjoyed that too...

Sounds good. Bring on the snow so you can have some fun.

I wasnt convinced on the Countryman until I was out with my mate the other week and he ordered one. We both took a test drive in it and I was pleasantly suprised, it was pretty good to drive.

Will reserve judgement til I see it but think that's the best of the countryman range ;). 4wd and diesel economy ;)

...Cheers. I have always liked the look of the Countryman and can still get my MINI "kicks" from our wee R57 in the meantime.

We were also quite taken by the Coupe that we drove but 2 MINIs is plenty for the time being.

We took a Cooper SD Countryman All 4 Automatic out a week or so ago. It was certainly nippy pulling away from roundabouts and junctions and so on. but the overtaking acceleration from 40 to 70 etc was not as strong as I'd have liked.

But I loved the drive. Took it out on some twisties and threw it about a bit and it handled really well. Was a great drive apart from the lack of high end power.

We took a Cooper S Countryman out too and was more impressed with that, but we've decided to stick with the FL2 for now.

What you failed to mention is that the sales girl on the test drive thought you were Cole Trickle!.....

She saw her lunch twice that day :yes nod:

This is my Fav one just now. I think due to lower sales Mini will end the Clubman over this in time and that would be sad as we all know the clubman can look just as great kitted out.

Yeah it’s a guy on Total Mini from Canada and decided to go with a brave colour scheme that he’d not seen.

You just know on snow tyres and with the All 4 its going to be a beast in the snow.

Just re-read this thread and saw this post. Clearly the person who I'm quoting about was lying his frikkin' ass off.

Well, that's not entirely true. At that time we had decided to stick with the FL2, then it started falling apart and decided to jump ship.:thumbs up:

And, yeah... Andrew, where's the pics?

...Ah yes, need to get some done, when it is not too dark / raining / snowing / windy / have camera batteries (delete as appropriate).

Collected the Countryman on 30/12/11 and a pleasant hand over from Graeme at Grassicks. It is a lovely drive and handles not too unlike a MINI hatchback. Still need to arrange our M*** UDE plate yet and a wash as it tries to head towards the "Manky Club"

It is going to be my work car so it has its "work cut out" but I am sure it is more than capable of handling all that is put in its way in the next 3+years...

Andy J - trying to get in to see you this week either Thu / Fri...
