hi guys,just a big hi out there to my fellow scot mini lovers,:bigwave: my familys owned several old style minis over the years so i guess thats where i caught the mini bug,am looking to buy myself a new style mini in the coming weeks but having never owned the current model i thought i would join up to this forum for some help and advice before taking the plunge :D

I personally wouldn't go anywhere else, I've bought my present Mini and my last one from them and I've had Great Service before and after, I told Mini:) to go there and she's awaiting her New Mini, and as she said - ask for John Grey who will definitely sort you out what your looking for... :yes nod:

I visited quite a few dealers in recent months and have enjoyed dealing with Vardy the best:yes nod:. From experience with my current (outgoing) MINI (which had just come in and wasn't yet online, whereas the one I phoned about had already gone...) I wouldn't nec wait till you see one you like! If you speak to a good dealer I'm sure they'll keep an eye out for something coming in that suits your hopes and desires and you'll maybe catch something before it's advertised. Oh and while discussing my new car, John was saying to me in passing that people often say they know what they want and end up buying something else...and I'm thinking, yes, but I KNOW what I want so I won't do that....and then I did just that :lol:

Got to say I've never had any hassle at Menzies in Stirling. I've ordered parts and had a service there with everything being done without a hassle. They've phoned me when parts have come in & the staff have been very pleasant both in the service & parts department.
The GP they had there was a low mileage one and if you speak to the girl in the sales department they'll come and go on price. It's been sitting a couple of months now if it's still there .. How much you wanting to spend on one ? There's one for sale on the GPUKOC site just now ..

theres one on either pistonheads or autotrader,i forget,thats done only 800 miles.:eek: owner bought it as an investment and is now emigrating,think hes looking for 23 for it

This GP has been well looked after and has never let me down, always kept to the highest standard and cleaned on a regular basis, leather has always been treated !
There is no damage/dents/rips/kerbing to the car it does has the usual mini stone chips to the bonnet which is common, all the electrics are fully working with no issues.
