has any one hear had there cooper d remaped?

i was thinking of haveing mine remaped but i would like to hear some feed back from folks who have had it done allready so if you could please tell me how good it is? how safe? how much more power?

Any tuning of an engine will shorten its lifespan.

Whilst the clutch, gearbox and rest of the drivetrain are shared with the higher power Cooper S, chipping will raise the torque of the engine beyond that produced by the S so I’d be concerned about these components in a chipped Cooper D. The clutch and dual mass flywheel are known to be a weak spot.
