Hi folks,

As I posted a couple of weeks ago, I changed my Clubbie to a BMW 318i Sport Plus - I just collected it today so thought I'd post a few pics.

Naturally, I'm very pleased with it! :)

I must say that Haryy Fairbairns couldn't have been nicer and I was actually very impressed with how I was treated throughout the whole time and not just today.

Anyway, here are the pics!

That’s a nice big comfy motor. Enjoy the new car, and any new toys it has in it.

Thanks everyone!

I'm still finding my way around it but first impressions are good. I've only went a short drive so far and it drives very nicely - handling is certainly top notch.

Need to read the handbook to find out if it needs run in before I give it some beans!

On another note, apparently the Mini dealership is jumping up and down to get the private plate transferred as they have several people interested in my Clubbie!

I was in last week getting the car serviced, I usually stay as they don’t wash it the car is never that long in. Your car was easily the nicest example in the second hand part and stands out that wee bit with the black wheels plus some of the others have dents and nasty scratches.

Not forgetting it’s just a nice colour combo, I really like the laser blue. Never been too sure about the chrome scoop but that is just me………..:D

Stewart, I just remembered that I have the original blue scoop in the garage so if you buy my Clubbie you can have it for free! :D

Cracking car, handling in those is superb and regardless of engine spec they always feel that bit more special than anything else. Enjoy!

Lovely motor Del. I love the interior, so simple and clutterless, just perfect...mind you, could do with a big speedo in the middle and a Mini badge on it no?

You mean the big round dial thing that nobody ever looks at? ;)

And it has a BMW badge anyway - you know, the company that makes the Mini?!

But back to your thread, sweet motor, and I hope you have many happy (trouble free) miles in it.

Don't worry, if I ever go on a run with you then you'll get your comeback when I can't keep up with you!

You've obviously never seen my driving then if you think that ;) (and yes, I do realise I've just slagged myself off!)
