Hi just noticed I have a little caption about my profile pic that says.. traffc light racer... where did that come from?

Re. Traffic Light Racers
The 'Traffic Calming' furniture these days has killed off this sort of thing... the roads were a LOT less cluttered when I was younger.
You can imagine what you could do to 'fancy' motors at the lights (and elsewhere) with a 95bhp 1275 MINI "HLE" - the only giveaway was the loud exhaust and the GB Alloys :smilewinkgrin:

Just not safe to do it these days :hand: cars are quicker and roads are tighter, in towns probably a good thing... :sad:

old school is ace.. im a fan of the american scene, I like my 1969 chevy camaros, aim to have one one day for sunny days.. not for racing of course.. just for the sunday morning coffee and paper run :-)

You can't beat the rumble of a Big Block - I'm a big fan of American tin too, from Hot Rods to 60s/70s Muscle Cars. I buy a bunch of DVDs every year from Quartermilehigh.co.uk, who do lots of interesting stuff - Mopar Euronats, Hot Rod Drags, Street Eliminator series, Pro Mods etc etc - if you love V8's, check them out.

Of course you realise that the Coffee and Paper would be all you could afford once you'd paid for the Camaro's gas to get to the shops and back...
