Top show tonight.:thumbs up: They weren't as critical of the standard countryman or coupe as I thought they would be.

Would happily take any of tonights cars off them from th marauder to the e-type.:thumbs up::D Although they can keep the PT Cruiser.

On a side note, did anyone else watch Fifth Gear on Friday night? They tested the new Mclaren. It was on Top Gears track.

See I seen that FG was on before i went out and thought its an old one. Is it a new series of FG if so i've missed it.:frown:

Yeah I seen that, and I liked how they drove the wrong way on the track. I think the most interesting part of that was that they didn't like the McLaren! Problem with these shows though, any normal person for kill for even a day in a car like that McLaren. Happens more than you think though, do you read TG magazine? There is often a lot of cross over as I assume they get the cars for the day, and all sorts like TG, FG etc all rock up and have a blast with them.

Best source of accurate road tests are the Evo magazine videos on YouTube. They have a video test of a McLaren v Ferrari, 911 and a Noble. Really interesting to see what the drivers are saying about it, that the Ferrari is more twitchy but the McLaren just so accomplished that it may actually be too good. I'm a big McLaren fan and I've seen a few on the road as they are opening a dealer in the next village to me and we're also near to the Prodrive test track, however they don't sound nearly as good as the Ferrari and when you are dealing with cars like that, that matters.

I'm glad I don't have to choose between the two!

The other good video on there I watched at the weekend is the Mille Miglia video that Harry did in his own 599, really gives you an idea of the madness around it.
