The thing with these things is just to post a date and a time and see who signs up.

^^ this. Plan a date in advance, plan a route/meet point for an informal thrash; wait and see if anyone is available.

With work/family commitments etc most people need a bit of notice to plan it in, before the wife allocates that weekend to something else.

Stick a date down, my time is pretty much tied up with work commitments. Last couple of times Ben organised it we all met up in Makro and took some photos.
