Films to see

I've been given a lovefilm thing for 3 months, and am really struggling to work out what I should get! I've added all the stuff I wanted to see recently, so I'm looking for some recomendations of decent films to see that have come out in the last couple of years (essentially, since my son was born I've really not seen anything in the cinema!)

Type of films I definietly don't want are anything too period or anything gory. Missus hates the latter and I'm not fond of the former although I did really like the Kings Speech (we saw it in the day when we had a day off and the wee one was in nursery).

Role Models, I think it's about 3 years old but so funny.
Kick Ass, awesome film so many dimensions to this a definite watcher.
Inception, brilliant needs to be watched twice and sober.
Avatar, chick flick but still a watcher
case 39, just brilliant too,
The blind side: a must, again a chick flick but brilliant.
The hangover: seriously funny.
