Morning all.

What a weekend :frown::frown::frown: it involved in a small ding while driving the works on-call car.

I hit a sign post while in a retail parks car park :blush::blush:

Do I need to inform my car insurance company as I’ve had an accident and how do I stand given the fact I was undertaking private mileage but was roosted ‘on-call’ 24 hours a day for 7 days.

Many thanks, Matthew.

One of the guys here I work with hit a bollard with our pool car in Sainsburys when going for his lunch on the way back from a job.

As far as Im aware he never told his own insurance co.
The works policy covered the pool car.

Wouldn't have though so, if it was on the works policy.

What about when I renew and answer the question I have been in an accident n the past 5 years ?

I was re-thinking this and you need to ask your work if you were named on the claim, if so i would tell them as companies share details.

If you are involved in any accident you need to notify your own insurance, don't give them any chance to wriggle out of a claim if you need to
