Lenore & I and her M & D and her brother William and his daughter (our niece) took a trip to chilly Yellowcraigs beach today. Mainly just to let the dogs have a run about on the beach. Took a few pics, mostly of the dogs.

Lenore's mums dog - Pearl. Samoyeds are particularly difficult to photograph, especially in dark light.

Won't go into details here, but this is William (Lenore's Brother and Natalie, his daughter). None of us, including William have seen Natalie for 8 years because her mother refused all contact for his entire side of the family. Now the mother is incarcerated in what I like to call the "lunatic asylum for the criminally insane." And it turns out "what goes around, comes around." HA! Needless to say we're all spending a great deal of time getting to know Natalie again, and loving every moment with her.:thumbs up::yes nod::yes nod:

Great pics. Sad story about the family but it looks like everyone is pulling together so I'm sure you guys will all be having many more of these days ahead!

And Pearl - that's no dog, that's a walking teddy bear surely? :-) Her coat must be a nightmare to keep but she is gorgeous. As is Tili!

I see you've trained Tilli to stand well on only one leg at a time, that couldn't have been easy to do!!

...just kidding mate, great photos as usual mate. I wouldn't fancy trying to keep Pearl clean and dry after a day out at the beach anyway... :frown: especially before being allowed to get back into the car!!

I missed that last bit Andy, a very sad situation for Natalie, she must not know if she is coming or going. atleast she has a family now to get to know.

Cheers for the comments folks.

The samoyed is actually easiest to clean of them all. Buy the time we get back to the car, and she has a shake, you's almost spotless. Tili, however, his stomache is so close to the ground, he comes back absolutely filthy and needs a good rub down with a towel to clean him up and dry him off.

Natalie: It's an ongoing court battle for custody, so I really can't post much up here. Needless to say, the wee lassie is very confused indeed, but I'm pretty sure she's really enjoying having her paternal family back in her life. And for sure, we are loving having her back in our lives.:thumbs up:
