When we got the R56 we managed to secure tyre insurance as part of the deal. This suggests that if the tyre is damaged and not repairable then the insurance will payout. The sly comment by the salesman was that you will be sorted for your next tyres.
On that note if I was to hit a pothole with front and back wheels and split the side walls does anyone know a 'friendly' tyre shop that can assess and claim through the insurance, I get new rubber and they get a sale?
It would be handy as I am down to 4mm
