As most off you know I got some new wheels last week but finally managed to get out and get them properly cleaned.

Removed each wheel in turn and cleaned wheel, calliper , lining etc.

Gave the wheels a good soak with AG's wheel cleaner and the calliper and lining/strut etc with AG's engine degreaser.

Also used a spot of autosmart glue and tar remover for the tar spots.
End result was very pleasing.

Once cleaned gave each wheel a coat of poor boys wheel sealant and coated the tyre walls in chemical guys trim gel.

Wheels look good.
When your cleaning under the arches always jet wash them out first to get as much dirst out as possible BEFORE using any cleaning chemical. This way it gets it much cleaner and you use less chemical.

I have been in touch with Mr Shine himself late last year so will see if the pennies are there come April time! Nice little birthday treat to myself!

Funny should say that, I actually took the jet wash to it after these pics, guess I should have taken a pic. Thanks for the tip though always looking from advice from the clean master general:lol:

Beltline looks good. I think it makes it look lower. Did you wrap around the edges or cut to the exact size?

Bought a kit so it's all pre cut. Still a bugger to do though.

I just remember someone on here doing it with tape masking/electrical and although it looked great on the pic’s I thought the tape close up may not look that great.

Your right bud, but I guess it won't last either. This is 7 yr vinyl so should last.
