im with you eddie, no lookin forward to meetin a sh**y wee skoda on the motorway . . . decent back road though seee ya skoda . . . .
ive got a k&m 57i on, doesnt seem to make any power difference, sounds greath though. . .
i think mucho more horsepower need to beat skoda in straight line, cos my pals 1.8vvti celica cant pull away from me (on our private track) up to 90 . . .

Don't underestimate that little Skoda it's got 130bhp and shed loads of torque, it'll easily beat a Cooper from the lights. Not to mention it'll do 50-60mpg easily.
Mind you on a back road they handle like poo, a cooper should be able to take one.
Now I'd love to see that sort of engine in the Mini.

Sadly the cooper will never beat that skoda in a straight line, the skoda has far too much low end torque, but, as mentioned above get into the twisties and you'll blow it's socks off ;)

No really worth chipping a Cooper from what I've read. Makes a big difference to a One, but little to a Cooper. (understandable as the engines are same except chips)
