What difference would putting in better plugs do to the performance?
Also what are the best plugs to put in?

Not a lot unless your engine is right on the edge preformance wise... the ones in the Mini are pretty efficient I think.
There was a big discussion on Mini 2 a while back about this...
A fair bit of discussion about Denso and HKS Iridium plugs.
I think the real issues were the temperature ranges of various plugs, and which would perform better...
dunno if that's any use... you could maybe try trawling round there or asking? beware of the Yanks tho! ;);):D:D:cool:

I've got the HKS Iridium IK22 plugs and leads as recommended by BBR to reduce the backfire I was getting when the upgrade was done, and it worked!! Quite expensive and possibly wouldn't make that big a difference on your car if you don't have such a problem, maybe someone else can be a bit more useful.....:clown:
