does anyone know if stock exhaust on 07 cooper is stainless steel or mild steel

I'm pretty certain it wouldn't be Stainless - MINI don't give you that sort of thing as standard!

The JCW system on the S is stainless, as are most 'aftermarket' exhausts these days, but I think the stock COOPER one will be Mild.

I could be talking b*ll*cks though. I know the old R53 S system isn't stainless. Give your Dealer a shout and they'll soon tell you, or google it!

There is no chance the STD box is stainless. Mini would not waste their money on that when they can give you the cheaper mild steel option :thud:
