Hi All

Can anyone shed on light on this. I've noticed recently that when coming to a complete stop - say at trafiic lights the passenger front corner rises about an inch or two. Once I move off again the corner drops back down when the wheels start moving. I've not noticed any probs whilst the car is moving at speed.

Something else that has happened since the cold snap is (I think its the power steering pump) has become noisier. Louder than the normal whine you get when manoeuvering. It's now a constant marginally louder whining even when the car is stationery and idling.

Any ideas welcomed. Thanks. JC

Your power steering is about to break, a common problem.

Never heard of the rising issue on a Mini, but on a company car where I used to work, the driver complained about the car shunting forward once he had come to a stop - turned out the engine was loose on it's mounting....
