Everyone tells you coil overs are the way to go, but if you are just daily driving and not going to the track on the weekend then this is a low cost way to get the look and handling without breaking the bank.

TSW MINI Performance Springs, H-Sport Competition Rear Sway Bar, and H-Sport Rear Camber Links for a stiff 1" drop! $700 for the parts from www.WayMotorWorks.com

I've got a even cheaper method...... drive the mini in the snow and the wheel gap is virtually nul.;) not that you get any snow right enough.

Or if you're really watching the pennies, you could get a set of Eibach Springs for under £200

ELFMAN, i just saw the JCW Recaro seats in your list of mods and it made me remember that we can't get those on a US spec MINI. The JCW doesn't even come with them over here. LUCKY!

They are not a factory option in the UK either on any model.

Yes but the GP in the USA did not even have them in and the GP came with them as standard !!

mmm....very strange. I cannot understand why recaro's are not standard on the JCW's especially as they can be in excess of £32K!!!

The JCW should come with the JCW Aero Kit and the Coilovers for the price. We don't sell very many of them. Only a few per year.

That's not so good - and you in the 'Land of Plenty'! There's an opening for you - 'MINI JCW Recaro Imports Inc. USA'.

As Greig said, the JCW doesn't come with them over here either... or the Drilled Disks... or the JCW Suspension... I almost have more JCW parts than the JCW!

Plus shipping and customs tax

Not if you're buying them in the UK..... that was taking into account VAT & delivery
