Hi

I have winter tyres fitted to my MCS and they are throwing up a lot of dirt down the side of the car. I was wondering if fitting mud flaps would help cut this down?

Thoughts appreciated and has anybody fitted and how difficult was it. Not bothered about rear ones as no paint work to damage behind the rear wheels and they don't look great!

I fitted the front flaps and they certainly helped reduce spray. The rears got sold on as when IMO don't like how they look. I have heard they reduce the spray up but in really bad weather I can't see them helping a massive ammount.

As far as fitting goes they are a bit tricky if I am honest. The OEM ones come with decent instructions.
