East Lothian Mini Owners Club Meetings

In 2009 a group of keen enthusiasts from East Lothian (us lot) came together to create the East Lothian Mini Owners Club. Open to both new and classic mini owners as well as those looking to get information on owning their own Mini are welcome to join for free.

Every month we meet to discuss our cars, upcoming shows and events and generally have a good chat about ourselves.
We have no fixed agenda and generally go with the flow. We sometimes pop in to the Plough for a wee cola (well we are driving after all).

We meet on the last Sunday of the Month In Brewery Park, Just off Neilson Park Road, Haddington (behind the Corn Exchange)
With the darker and colder evenings we will probably all be in the Plough Tavern Bar/Lounge.

The car show is progressing but we would like to se more new MINI owners at the meetings. (one turned up last month)

Hi all


Just a little reminder that this months meeting is on Sunday at 6pm in the usual
place in the Plough Tavern, Haddington. Either in the bar or lounge.


On the agenda this month is the upcoming Car Show in June and our appeal to
members for help in organising the event. We desperately need extra hands in
organising this.
I will also bring everyone up to speed on whats been happening so far including
some of the donations from big names like Peter Vardy, Carplan and Adrian Flux

Also on the agenda is Fund Raising. The show is going to cost a fair few
hundred pounds to stage and since the club is skint we need to think of ways of
getting some cash in to cover insurances, printing, and promotion of the event.



So If you have any contacts, experiance or just want to help then we want to see
you there.

And dont worry If you havnt been to the meeting before please come along and
introduce yourself.

Just a reminder that ELMOC is open to ALL types of Mini not just Classics.

Now in our FOURTH year the club continues to grow as more and more people learn about this small band of Mini lovers. We attend Shows and runs throught the year as well as help each other with all aspects of mini builds and maintenance.
Open to both new and classic mini owners as well as those looking to get information on owning their own Mini are welcome to join. Membership is free although we do encourage you to donate, buy merchandise and contribute to raffle and tombolla stands throughout the year. All money raised goes to cover our Insurances and Equipment for attending shows through out the year as well as holding our own show every June.

We still try and meet every month but with the show season upon us sometimes there are conflicts.

We will be at the Thistle Run and also at shows through out the areas.
