Just wondering if anyone else has had this replaced.:question:
There is a slight knocking/clunking from the steering whell whilst parking and at slow speeds.:(
The mechanic said that there was a new modified steering shaft that we needed.:cool:
Well Dunedin being Dunedin have very efficientley ordered the new part and also booked us a courtesy car. I really cant fault them.
Cant wait to get some more boiled sweets :p

Yep, a common problem, I had mine done and so have a lot of of others.

Just had mine done for the second time - don't worry, it is quick and painless!! :)

Mine was done after I insisted it was faulty and others on MINI2 had part of the steering column replaced. Well done Eastern - NOT!

In the process if replacing it they scratched the silver bits on the wheel and replaced it about 30degrees of centre - gee thanks :mad:

Will keep an eye out for the scratches and the squint wheel :)

Don't worry it was Eastern :blackeye:, not Dunedin :)

i'd had 3 new columns in my prev coop before it broke out the cocoon and grew into an S!!

The blackberry and raspberry ones were my favoutire - much better than the mixed fruits or barley sugars :D

Just got the Mini back all nice and clean !!!

Also got a tin of Mixed Berry sweets, hhhmmm my favorite.

That reminds me i should make a dentist appointment
