Radiator Fan Keeps going on!!!

Hi
I'm new here and looking to buy a mini Cooper S. I was looking at one tonight and every couple of minutes and fan would come on. Is this normal for a S?
The engine was hot.
Any help would be appreciated

Check to see if the air con is on, The fan kicks in alot on mine when the air con is on. Switch it of an the fan stops running so often :thumbs up:

what age of s are you looking at ???

As above, mine clicks on and off all the time when the air con is on

and yes the air con was on. Just checked with the current owner.

that will prob be it then also just check the water bottle at the seam about 1/2 way down make sure its dry and no sign of leaking you will see a greenish looking stain on the heat shield for the manifold thats is comman problem with the R53
